Confirmation, together with Baptism and Eucharist, form the Sacraments of Initiation that are all intimately connected. In the Sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized person is “sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit” and is strengthened for service to the Body of Christ and welcomed fully into the life of the Church.
We welcome you and thank you for choosing St. Frances of Rome to help you prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation! This is truly a special time of spiritual formation for you; one that we hope will strengthen your relationship with Jesus and His Church.
Adult Confirmation is the process to help a Catholic adult who has been baptized and received their first holy communion become a fully initiated Catholic through the reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation. Our process is designed to help returning or already active Catholics to strengthen their relationship with Jesus through personal reflection, scripture study, faith sharing, and faith formation.
Sessions will be held on Sunday mornings and/or afternoons beginning in October and continuing until the Confirmation Mass which usually takes place in April or May. The full calendar will be distributed prior to the start of sessions.
